Lord I pray
That 2010 will be as great as the 2009 years before,
In our spiritual and physical lives
And in this world You have created for all of us.
Grant us wisdom and strength
As we go through another set of 365 days...
Equip us with unfailing memory
To be reminded of your sovereignty always.
Cloth us with your mercy
And hide us behind your cross
So that others will always see
You who is in us.
Keep us focused on what truly matters
Increase our appetite for learning
Keep us glued to Your words
And restrict us to towing Your line.
May Your name be glorified in our lives this 2010 and the years to come.
