Last Friday, amidst the threat of a low pressure area somewhere near Batanes, the company pushed through with the scheduled weekend trip to Pagudpud, Ilocos Norte.
It took us 16 hours to get there, to include the stop-overs we made in Vigan, Batac and Laoag. Our butts suffered severely although our stomachs never had a lull in churning. The destination seemed unreachable as hours passed, until finally the 'Welcome to Pagudpud" was in sight.
The waves were raging and humongous but altogether, we had a fun time at the beach. The food was sumptuous and the people, warm.
It was a good break from clinic work and was well worth the trip!
